We are delighted to celebrate a significant milestone for one of our dedicated volunteers, Su, who has now contributed an incredible 1,000 hours of volunteering.
Su began her volunteering journey in 2021 at the Vaccination Centre during its initial operation, supporting the rollout at a critical time. She continued to volunteer there until the opening of the Nightingale Hospital to the public, where she then became part of the volunteer team supporting services on site.
Today, Su volunteers every Monday in the shoulder clinic, where she plays a key role in supporting patient flow within Buttercup. The shoulder clinic is based within Buttercup, and Su works closely alongside the team there, helping to guide patients to imaging appointments and ensuring they return for their consultations. Pictured with Su are Jo, Service Co-ordinator for Buttercup, and Jennie, Clinical Nurse Manager for Buttercup, both of whom are incredibly grateful for her ongoing support and the positive impact she has on both patients and staff.
Su is known for her consistently positive attitude and her proactive approach. She actively participates in daily briefings, ensuring she stays up to date with any clinic developments and is always ready to support both patients and staff.
