Welcome to the NHS Nightingale Hospital Exeter

The NHS Nightingale Hospital Exeter is a modern hospital that provides high-quality care for patients across Devon. We focus on non-urgent care, which means planned treatments and appointments.

Our hospital is separate from busy emergency hospitals. This helps create a calm and comfortable space for patients. We bring different services together in one building, so you may be able to have tests and appointments on the same day. This can reduce travel and waiting times.

Our Specialist Services

We are home to several expert services:

Devon Diagnostic Centre – Providing a range of imaging services including x-ray, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT and MRI.

SWAOC – Providing a variety of day case and short stay planned orthopaedic procedures

Centre of Excellence for Eyes – Providing an outpatient diagnostic image capture service and cataract surgery

Rheumatology – Providing outpatient services for patients which affect the musculoskeletal system and associated conditions

Buttercup Outpatients – Outpatient department which provides a range of different services including diagnostic tests and one stop clinics
