Monthly Spotlight: Welcoming Two New Team Members.

This month, we’re pleased to shine a spotlight on two of our newest team members, Louise and Lois. Both bring valuable experience, enthusiasm, and a fresh perspective to the Nightingale, and we’re delighted to have them on board.

Louise – SWAOC Coordinator
Louise joined the Nightingale on 30 March and was drawn to the role by the opportunity for progression. With a background in cancer services, particularly in haematology, she brings a wealth of administrative experience to the team.

She is especially looking forward to developing new skills and working alongside a new team. Since starting, Louise has found everyone to be welcoming, describing the environment as friendly with a real “can do” attitude.

Outside of work, Louise enjoys spending time with her children, as well as cooking and reading.

Lois – Private Patient Administration Manager
Lois joined on 6 April 2026, stepping into a brand-new role that offers the opportunity to shape and develop private patient services. She was particularly attracted to the position because of the chance to contribute to generating funds for the NHS while helping deliver streamlined private care—something she feels is an important part of what the Nightingale offers.

With 10 years’ experience within the Trust, including over three years in Orthopaedics, Lois brings extensive knowledge in patient booking, patient experience, and team management. She is excited to see the first patients begin treatment at the Nightingale, whether in Ophthalmology or Orthopaedics.

Lois’s first impression has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting how friendly and supportive everyone has been. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her energetic two-year-old son, as well as family and friends. She also loves to travel and explore new places, with Antigua being her favourite destination so far.

We’re thrilled to welcome both Louise and Lois to the team and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make in their roles.
